Last minute Birthday Card!!!

Okay, I'm taking a break from updating and uploading my old ugly artwork to work on a birthday card for my baby niece. Her birthday's tomorrow and I still have no idea what to get her so I decided to work on a card. Since I have a million of other things to do today (exaggerating), I may have to settle for a speed painting. 


Before you start scratching your head, let me explain why there's an evil looking child standing next to an owl. 


For some reason my sister decided the theme for my niece's birthday would be all owls. My niece doesn't care for owls; she doesn't even know what it is. We spent the last couple of week sewing owl plushes as center pieces (which I will post in a couple of days), making own decorations, and own theme cakes and desserts. Since everything we've made so far are all so cute and pink, I thought I'd go the other way and make something dark. 


So here is my very very quick speed painting. Still debating if I should fix it up a bit or leave it as is...hmm.. Oh well, hope you like it!
